Emma Peric
Emma is a mother to 5 wonderful and spirited children along with a wife to her husband Richard.
She has always been maternal and dreamt of having children which became a reality in 2000 with the birth of her first son. Not long after, Emma gave birth to her 2nd son in 2002, her daughter in 2005, her fouth child another son was born via emergency caesarean in 2006 and in May of 2010 she welcomed another beautiful daughter birthed at home as a VBAC.
Along her journeys Emma has come to see childbirth as such a wonderful life changing event, that should be looked forward to with no fear but with plenty of excitement and support.
Not long after the birth of her fourth child Emma was driven to become a doula with such an intense passion and did so through Optimum birth in 2007.

To date Emma has experienced and supported many women through vaginal births, Home Births, VBACs (vaginal birth after caesarean), VBA2C, elective and emergency caesarean sections, Inductions, medicated and unmedicated births including calmbirth and has supported in public and private hospitals along with birthing centres.
Emma also continues to expand her knowledge with updated research and additional courses.
